MICRO NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Little Micro was found sitting by herself on a local Sacramento citizen’s front lawn. She was extremely underweight, but otherwise a total sweetheart. Not surprisingly, she was placed into a permanent home within a few hours of being placed into the adoption center.

Shortly after getting acquainted with her new home, her new owner noticed that she was having a hard time breathing after eating. Her breathing was especially labored one night, so she was taken to the emergency vet hospital where she had x-rays taken.

It was then discovered that Micro suffers from a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Essentially, having a full stomach produces pressure on her diaphragm and could, ultimately suffocate her. Surgery to correct the hole in her diaphragm are necessary if she is to survive. Now, the tiny kitten is being fed very small meals throughout the day as she awaits the surgery that is to ultimately save her life.

This is where Cats About Town needs help. We will end up with a bill totaling approximately $2500 by the time Micro’s surgery has been completed. We wouldn’t think twice about providing Micro with the surgery that she needs to survive, but cost is undoubtedly a concern. Please help us continue to provide cats in need with a chance at life!

Donations of any size can be made by mail, Paypal (click on the Paypal link above) or in person at the Natomas PetSmart any weekend. Thank you so much for helping us remain a successful cat rescue!
