Volunteer!
Here are ways you can help out!
Foster Homes
We always need foster homes for the many homeless cats and kittens that
are abandoned each year. See our Foster
Q&A or call us on (916) 224-1117 for more information on foster
home requirements. Help a cat or kitten and your community, become a Cats
About Town Society foster parent.
Adoption Volunteers
Cats About Town Society has weekly adoption events every Saturday and
Sunday. We need your help staffing these events. As an adoption center
volunteer you will talk with people interested in adopting cats and kittens,
cover adoption policies and keep the cats and kittens entertained. Helping
to set up and clean out the cages before and after the events would also
be helpful. Please complete our Volunteer
Interest Form and mail to us, or bring it to one of our adoption
events at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on
Saturday from 12 - 7pm and Sunday 12 - 5pm.
Students! Need community service time?
Why not become an adoption volunteer and knock off a few hours of that
community service requirement. You can also volunteer for special events
such as yard sales, car washes and adopt-a-thons. Contact us for more
information at (916) 224-1117.
Donations
Your donation of money or in kind (blankets, food, toys, etc.) will always
be welcome and may even be tax deductible. Contact us at (916) 224-1117.
United Way
Does your place of employment participate in the United Way campaign?
If so, you can designate your donation to Cats About Town Society. Simply
put down our information along with our Tax ID number (68-0407757).
